Please join Families Raising Hope on Saturday, November 16 2024 for the 8th Annual Run/ Walk For Hope 5K and 1 Mile at Rio Vista Park in Peoria! Donations and proceeds from the event will support our mission of providing financial support to AZ individuals (and their families) battling cancer.
This event serves as a fundraiser for Families Raising Hope, which provides financial support to Arizona individuals (and their families) who are currently undergoing cancer treatment. This support helps in a variety of ways such as:
- Medical expenses related to treatment, for example outstanding bills; medical and prescription copays; insurance deductibles, etc.
- Housing expenses related to rent or mortgage payments.
- Other (living) expenses such as groceries; utility bills; car related expenses; gas to get to and from treatment; etc.

Race Day Information

Race Day Check In and Registration will be available beginning at 7:00am at Foothills Recreation Center.

We accept cash, check, and credit card on race day. Race day price are $50.

All shirts sizes may not be available on race day (please register online before race day to guarantee your shirt size choice).

Wheelchair, stroller, and leashed pet friendly event.

The course will take you through dedicated running trails (mixed surfaces of asphalt and concrete) at Foothills Recreation Center. Please note - this is an open trail system and does not close for our event. There will be bicycles, othere runners, and possibly even horses along the course. Please be good stewards of the course and share!!
